As we continue through the myriad of challenges, such as building back from COVID, anti-Asian violence, natural disasters, wars and rising nuclear threats, and continued assaults on our rights including immigrant rights, we are reminded of our late founder Yoon Han Bong who shared core life principles that continue to guide our organization, especially through challenging times.
The theme of this year’s gala, Rooted in Social Justice, is derived from the principle that no matter how difficult or challenging our current lives are, to always strive to center our values, live authentically, and live right. Your ongoing support will enable us to continue championing the fight for immigrant rights, as immigrant New Yorkers are relying on us now more than ever. In a night of reflection, remembrance and rejoice, we are also excited to present Standing Up For Justice Awards for our allies in recognition of their commitment to our communities.
