Announcement of the MK SPACE 'DongHaeng' Artist Selection
DongHaeng Artist
Established in October 2023, MK Space is a nonprofit alternative exhibition space under the MinKwon Center for Community Action in New Jersey. Through art, MK Space promotes social solidarity and shares messages of companionship and inclusion.
The “DongHaeng Artist” program is dedicated to discovering talented artists with disabilities, supporting their creative practices, and fostering an ongoing journey of partnership. In 2026, we are seeking DongHaeng Artists whose artistic passion will inspire and uplift the Korean American community. We warmly invite talented artists to apply.

Exhibition Schedule: Detailed dates to be determined after selection

Number of Selected Artists: Up to two artists will be selected

Application Deadline: Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed on a rolling basis.
Support & Benefits

M Grant: Each selected artist will receive a $1,000 grant. (The grant can be used for exhibition preparation and related expenses.)

Exhibition Support: Opportunity to hold a solo exhibition at MK Space and receive promotional support.
Submission Guidelines
Interested artists are requested to submit the following documents:

Artist Portfolio: 5 to 10 images of your work.

Artist Documents: Artist Résumé and/or Personal Statement.
