민권센터는 사명감 있고 활기찬, 사람 중심의 비영리 단체로, 뉴욕과 미국 전역의 한인, 아시안 아메리칸, 이민자 커뮤니티를 위해 봉사하고 교육하며 조직하는 활동을 펼치고 있습니다. 민권센터는 이민 및 공공혜택 무료 상담, 이민과 주거 관련 무료 법률 대리, 유권자 등록과 인구조사 홍보를 통한 시민 참여 증진, 그리고 지역, 주, 연방 차원의 다양한 연대 캠페인을 진행하고 있습니다.
민권센터는 저소득층, 서류미비자, 청년, 노인, 영어가 익숙하지 않은 주민 등 소외계층의 요구와 목소리를 우선시하며, 다언어와 다세대 참여 기반을 바탕으로 모든 사람을 위한 사회, 경제적 정의를 실현해 나가고 있습니다.
